Shaman Thunder Page Three

Here’s the third page of Shaman Thunder, a twelve-page comic that Josh Burggraf and I collaborated on:

Shaman Thunder page 3
Previous page.

For Shaman Thunder, Josh and I brainstormed the plot, divided it up into a page-by-page outline, and then drew alternating pages. Then, we decided to reorder the first four pages so that it’s two pages of me and then two pages of Josh. We like to be confusing. Shaman Thunder was originally published as a minicomic by the Gold County Paper Mill.

Yo yawl, I’m going to start posting Shaman Thunder, a twelve-page comic that Josh Burggraf and I collaborated on. Here’s the cover (drawn by both of us):

Lake Conroe Sketch

Filed under: Sketchbook Pages — Tags: , — William Cardini @ 7:52 am

Back in April I spent a weekend with some friends at a lakehouse at the northern end of Lake Conroe (near Houston). The northern end of the lake is less busy because the lake is shallow and there are a lot of tree stumps, mud, and other obstructions. We went out on a boat ride among the detritus and I felt inspired to make this sketch:

This alien crystal lake may be the setting for a future comic.

Comics Page Updated

Filed under: Web Comics — Tags: — William Cardini @ 10:38 pm

Hey yawl, thanks for the kind response with the comics I’ve been posting recently! I wish I had enough material to post two pages of comics a week from now on, but I’m not there. I’m definitely going to try and post comics more regularly though.

For now though, I’ve redone the comics page of this site so it’s easier to browse. I also added “Assault on Yurg,” “Rocky Mountain Chomp,” and a couple of other comics I’ve done recently, like this one:

The Castle of the Hyperlord comic

Anyway, enjoy browsing, and please let me know if you find any broken links – I just moved all of the pages from HTML to PHP.
