Come see my work, including a new edition debut, at two events this weekend: a group exhibition closing at KCAC and a vendor fair at PPZF.

From mid August 2025 to mid May 2026, I filled up a 60-page Moleskine-style sketchbook for the annual Sketchbook Project group exhibition at the Kansas City Artist Coalition. The sketchbooks, which have been on display in the Snap Space gallery at KCAC since July, will be coming down after the closing reception tonight, Fri Sept 4th, from 5-8pm, but will be available online forever after. Big props to the KCAC crew for scanning all those pages!

I emblazoned the cover of my sketchbook with my name but here’s a screenshot of what it looks like on their site so you can find it when scrolling through all the sketchbooks. Click the screenshot to visit the archive.

Then on Sunday Sept 6th, I’ll be tabling for the first time since April 2025 at the Paper Plains Zine Fest #5 vendor fair in Lawrence, KS! You can see all the deetz on this flyer:

The vendor fair will be Sunday, Sept 6th, from 11am-5pm at Van Go, 715 New Jersey St. in Lawrence, KS.

I’ll be inside Van Go at Table 45, next to my wife, Glade Hensel, and daughter, who’ll be slinging their own zines. Here’s the map of the main floor with our location marked:

Saving the best for last, I’m really excited to announce that I’m going to debut a new edition of my two-color riso mini-comic Sphere Fear at PPZF #5! J.T. Yost, who’s currently running a Kickstarter for some Denis Kitchen riso mini-comic collections, printed it for me and it looks as trippy as I intended! Sphere Fear was originally published by Yeah Dude Comics in 2015 and sold out quickly, so I’m stoked to have this new edition with some improvements for y’all!

I was bummed I couldn’t make either PPZF or KCZC last year, so I’m really glad that I’ll be back behind a con table this weekend.
