Speaking of crystals, I got this gem at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tinkertown.com\/\">Tinkertown Museum<\/a> gift shop (a fascinating place to stop by if y&#8217;all ever get the chance):<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hypercastle.com\/images\/2009-08-19_image2.jpg\"><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>According to my father, who&#8217;s a geophysicist, that rock is a slice of agate, which is, aptly, an aggregate of crystals that have grown together. Agates are usually clear, but this one has been stained pink.
